Privacy Policy

FileFixly ("we", "us") provides free online file tools at filefixly.com. This page explains what happens to your files and data when you use the site.
Your files
Most FileFixly tools process files entirely in your browser using JavaScript running on your own device. In those cases, your file is never uploaded or transmitted to our servers — it stays on your computer or phone from start to finish. Where a tool is clearly labeled as requiring server-side processing, the file is transmitted securely, processed, and then discarded; we do not retain a copy or build a library of user files.
Account information
If you create an account, we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), and a list of which tools you've recently used, so we can show your history back to you. We don't sell this information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. If analytics or advertising are enabled on the site, they may set additional cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
We send transactional email (welcome messages, password resets) via a third-party provider (Resend). We may occasionally send product update emails to registered users; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any such email.
Advertising
FileFixly is built to be compatible with Google AdSense. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your Google Ads settings.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at privacy@filefixly.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
